Be sure to review your admission offer in your application status portal. Your offer notice will include a link to the Intent to Enroll form. To finalize your admission and create your student accounts, you first need to complete Intent to Enroll.
Non-degree and micro-credential seeking students do not need to complete an Intent to Enroll.
48 hours after you complete your Intent to Enroll, you will be able to create your student accounts. OSU Network Identification (ONID) is a universal computer account available to all Oregon State students. Your ONID username and password give you access to university technology services and a variety of other resources. Oregon State requires you to communicate via your ONID email.
Make sure you know your ID number (provided on your application status page), and go ahead and sign up for your ONID account
Keep yourself and your privacy safe online by reading information security tips from our office of information security.
Any required documents will be listed on your application status page checklist. Official transcripts from your degree-awarding institutions will be required, but other documents or test scores may also be required. Make sure to check with your own program to see if they have additional tasks for you.
Graduate students have several options for financial support in graduate school, including scholarships, fellowships, teaching and research assistantships, awards, student jobs, and student loans.
Your success at obtaining funding can depend on your ability to meet deadlines and fill out applications correctly. Visit the funding section of our website to learn more.

The Office of Graduate Education does not endorse any specific housing resources, but here are some places to check:
Graduate Assistants represented by the Coalition of Graduate Employees (CGE) union, are eligible for this mandatory insurance benefit. Check the Human Resources website for deadlines and more information.
Domestic graduate students and Ecampus students who live within a 50-radius of the Corvallis campus can enroll in the OSU Student Health Insurance plan.
All international students who are registered for a minimum of one (1) on-campus credit are required to enroll in the OSU Student Health Insurance plan. You will be automatically enrolled and charged for this plan. If you have any dependents in your household who are eligible for coverage under the plan, they have the option to enroll.
Have you received all of your shots so you fulfill the State of Oregon's immunization requirements? Make sure to have all of your vaccination records up to date by checking the required list.
- Have you completed the Required Online Well-being Trainings?
- Does the financial aid office need anything from you?
- Does your academic program have any required trainings?
- Active duty service members and veterans should connect with Military and Veteran Resources.
- If you have a documented need/accommodation that should be recognized by the university visit Disability Access Services (DAS).
Please follow your program's advice and schedule for when to register. Some programs work with you to sign up for classes closer to the start of the term. If you still need to submit your final official transcript to Graduate Admissions with your degree awarded, that’s okay; students can register for courses without departmental approval through Week 1 of each term. All registration deadlines can be found on the Academic Calendar website. You'll need an ONID account to register.
The Office of Graduate Education welcomes all new graduate students to attend a university-wide graduate orientation and resource fair, designed to ease your transition into graduate school. Orientation occurs every fall term. At this event, you'll learn about academic and professional expectations of graduate students, resources on and off campus, meet peers and begin to create long-lasting connections. Attend in person or view all of our orientation videos online. For students that are starting in the spring, winter, or summer terms, please feel free to watch the videos from the most previous orientation and attend the following fall's orientation.
Online students should complete the Ecampus orientation for graduate students. Requires ONID login.
Grad Welcome Week also includes Library Day where you will learn about the many resources the OSU Libraries have to offer including study space, laptop loan program, media equipment checkout and much more.
For those who are becoming teaching assistants, we offer Graduate Teaching Orientation bringing you need-to-know information as you enter the classroom.
Your OSU ID Card is your pathway to numerous OSU services. Once you arrive on campus, stop by the OSU ID Center and be prepared to have your picture taken or upload your picture online first.
Check your grades, find places to eat and get bus schedules with the OSU Mobile app. Available for iOS and Android.
Beaver Hub is the central spot for your student information and resources. View your bill, check grades, look up classes, make appointments, ask for help, and more with Beaver Hub. New graduate students get access to Beaver Hub two terms prior to your entry term. For example, if you are starting in fall term you will have access at the start of the spring term. Check the academic calendar for when terms begin.
