Oregon’s economy spans the entire supply chain from abundant natural renewable and non-renewable resources through manufacturing and, ultimately, consumption. Logisticians are responsible for optimizing the entire supply chain to efficiently deliver goods and services from the supplier to customers.
Master of Science
The Master of Science in Supply Chain and Logistics Management prepares students to thrive in a global business environment. The program covers key areas such as procurement, transportation, inventory, warehousing, distribution, and customer service, while building strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Students learn to optimize the flow of goods from raw materials to finished products across the entire supply chain.
The program also provides students the ability to focus on industry-specific supply chain challenges in areas such as Pharmacy Management, Occupational Safety, Business Analytics, and Natural Resource Management.
Certificate
The 21-credit Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics Management is designed to provide advanced coursework and experiential learning opportunities to students interested in careers in supply chain management, warehouse operations, planning and forecasting, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management.
The Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics Management may be completed in 1 to 2 years depending on start term and possible prerequisites based upon prior academics and experience. Students may earn their certificate in conjunction with a concurrent graduate degree or on its own as a standalone certificate.
