Water Resources Engineering

Corvallis   M.S./Ph.D.

The Water Resources Engineering (WRE) degree program is designed to provide students with the essential skills for sustained and impactful careers in water resources engineering and system design.

Participants in this program will receive comprehensive training, preparing them for lifelong endeavors in water resources system design. 

  

Water Resources Science

Corvallis   M.S./Ph.D.

The Water Resources Science (WRS) degree program is strategically structured to provide students with comprehensive training in water resources, complemented by an intellectual connection to a secondary field. Graduates of the WRS degree program will fulfill the coursework prerequisites necessary to achieve Professional Hydrologist certification through the American Institute of Hydrology (AIH). 

  

Water Resources Policy and Management

Corvallis   M.S.

This degree program provides students with a comprehensive education to pursue careers in effectively managing water resources and playing a key role in shaping water resource policy decisions. Graduates of this program will possess a well-rounded skill set, encompassing expertise in public administration, policy theory, and practical experience gained either through internships integrated into the degree program or, in some instances, through prior professional work experience. 

   

Concurrent JD/M.S.

Corvallis   JD/M.S.

The concurrent degree program offers students the opportunity to receive a Juris Doctor and a Master of Science in one of the three degree programs of the Water Resources Graduate Program on a condensed time frame and enjoy the advantage of an interdisciplinary focus on water resources law, policy, and science. The Water Resources Graduate Program brings together faculty and students from six colleges and multiple departments. The program includes core requirements for all students with additional work concentrated in specific degree programs in Water Resources Engineering, Water Resources Science, or Water Resources Policy and Management. 

  

Water Resources Engineering

Ecampus   Certificate

When you earn a graduate certificate in water resources engineering online from Oregon State University, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of the hydrologic cycle, including the processes that drive precipitation, runoff and groundwater dynamics. You’ll develop skills related to numerical groundwater modeling and water quality assessment while studying the social, economic and technological factors that impact water resources management. 

    

Water Conflict Management and Transformation

Ecampus   Certificate

This 18-credit, online Graduate Certificate in Water Conflict Management and Transformation provides in-depth training to enhance your career in water governance and help you implement strategies that impact our ecosystems, society and economics. Program graduates are able to address and facilitate hydrodiplomacy, conflict resolution, public participation, strategic planning, finance administration and public policy and law.
