Grad Welcome Week

Welcome to the start of your graduate academic journey at Oregon State University.

We are so glad you are here. Grad Welcome Week is designed to help you understand your unique path to a graduate career. Attend orientation to learn more about the Office of Graduate Education as we map out the many resources available to graduate students.

If your journey includes a teaching assistantship, attend the graduate teaching orientation to demystify the classroom experience. All graduate students will benefit by attending Library Day, which is hosted by our partners in the Library. They are available to help you master research.

All new degree or certificate-seeking graduate students will receive an email invitation to register for the week’s events. Many sessions will be recorded and shared on our videos page shortly after the event.

Students starting in a term other than fall term are also invited to attend the orientation for winter, spring, and summer terms.

New graduate students are encouraged to attend events hosted by OSU Office of New Student Onboarding with the broader Oregon State undergraduate student body.
